Puccini earned her MXJ
last year (Masters Excellent Jumpers with Weaves). It takes 10
perfect scores to get. She earned her MX (Masters Excellent
Standard) on September 1, 2007. (Again takes 10 perfect scores
in Standard excellent class). The MACH (Agility Championship)
takes 20 Double Qualifying runs (perfect score in both jumpers
with weaves and standard on the same day) and 750 speed points
(you get one point for every second that you run the course
under time). Puccini is 1/2 done with MACH - has 600 speed
points and 10 Double Qs, so has to get the other 10 Double Qs to
get MACh .
There is only one Briard
ever with a MACH, so hopefully she will be the second.
(There are only 4 ever MX MXJ Briards). She is VERY fast so her
handler really has to work extra hard to keep up with her. Chini
is just 4 years old, which is pretty young to be running at her
level consistently. |

including three or four group placers, and should earn his ROM
soon. The sweetest of boys, Trever always passes on his

My second Italian import, Natalina was Best in
Sweepstakes at the 1998 National Specialty, is major pointed (at
7 years of age), Rassemblement Excellent/Pre-Select at the 2000
Rass and finally was Rass Select at the 2004 Rassemblement. I
now share Natalina so that she can finally be the Queen of the
house she thinks she should be. |

Juste and Redford’s “glamour girl” daughter Goldie Girl lives in
Texas with her
“flock” of four kids at Aladax. She recently had puppies sired
by True, with several pointed, including Tryst, who won a group
placement at 6 months old, shown by little Alaina.

Club specialty show. Puppet now lives like a KING a couple of
hours from me.

Now owned by my favorite niece Chelsea (some of
you will remember her when I was showing Sarek), Margot lives in
Cleveland and is Chelsea’s devoted sidekick. She is taking time
off to grow her adult coat and color and is enjoying Rally.
Hopefully I will be able to “steal” her away for awhile next
year to go to shows and to have some puppies.

Co-owned with a new briarder, Penny Morris in
Wisconsin, Chloe finished her championship with 6 majors this
summer – yes, 6 majors – she won even when not groomed and
poorly handled to “hold the major”. Chloe and Penny had a great
time at their first National Specialty/Rass this year and earned
all of her fun titles (TT CGC HIC TDI), showing off her
wonderful temperament and the great job Penny has done with her.
The Chief Temperament Tester chose Chloe as the Briard “he
would most like to take home with him.” Chloe will bred Spring
2007, pending her health clearances. We recently got the good
news that Chloe’s hips were OFA Good.

For those who are wondering, Augostino Loprinzi
is a famous classical guitar maker. Augie’s Mom is new Briarder
Rosemary Dare from Baltimore, who has raised, trained and
titled Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Bullmastiffs and
Rottweilers. Along with conformation showing, Rosemary and Augie
are training in Obedience, Rally, Agility and Herding. Hope some
of you got to meet the versatile Mr Augie and Rosemary at this
year’s National. He recently earned his Rally RN and his
Obedience CD on the same weekend.
