Looking for a Friend....

Touch is an energetic 5 year old, natural eared black boy. He is shaved down right now because his previous owner got very ill and could not care for him for a while. Touch is very playful, he can play with his 'kong' forever. Good in the house. Crate trained, but gets mouthy when in there too long (in his opinion) though he is in there during the night and is fine. He is obedient, but needs clear leadership. He likes to give "love snips" when he gets exited, like when you come home or let him out of the crate. When I see him coming I can tell him no and he will stop.
I wouldn't place him with little kids, not because he is mean but because he would probably run them over. He has tons of energy, would be great for any kind of Sport, or as a hiking partner. He is a quick learner.

He is getting better with my Briard girl Kate, even though he still snaps at her once in a while. Possibly he needs a stronger canine female who puts him in his place right away, because when my Kate tells him off he backs off. He is a fun dog to be around, quite a character. I would love to keep him, but he does NOT get along with cats. He chases them all over the house, he cornered one and luckily he had the muzzle on.....
So now its either him outside with us or in the crate or Kitty in the bedroom.

This site began as an exclusive site for Briardale briards. Then a few of our breeder friends wanted to join in. We gladly made space for them also. Now this site is a place for likeminded Briard breeders. Every breeder featured on this site takes great care to produce healthy, well tempered Briard puppies. The litters these breeders produce are carefully planned. The Briard puppies these breeders produce are properly whelped and well taken care of in the first weeks of their life, and in the later weeks - properly socialized and raised. All puppies are placed with utmost care. All the breeders on this site offer contact and advice to their puppy buyers throughout the life of the puppy.

All our breeders are members of the Briard Club of America.
